I have books purchased using another Apple ID. Can they be moved to my current Apple ID?

The title says it all... any way to do this?

Books not syncing across iCloud My books are not syncing across iCloud. My guess is that it's an Apple ID issue. In particular I put a non-DRM eBook on my Mojave Book and it won't show on my iPad. For historic reasons (long ago things worked this way) I have an Apple ID for purchases and a different Apple ID for iCloud. Per Apple recommendations our Family Sharing group includes the Purchase Apple ID. On both my Mojave MacBook and my iOS 14.4 iPad the Apple ID for purchases and iCloud are in use. Any clues on fixing the sync issue? In preferences I have Book configured to sync collections and the like.

Deleting books from ipad I went into Amazon and deleted two books I read from my content list. Went back to my ipad and they are still there. Held my finger on them to delete, but delete is not one of the options that pops up. I get "Add to a collection", "Download", "Recommend" and "Book Details". When I try then to "Download" it tells me I don't own the book I am trying to download. So there are 2 books I read and can't delete. Even after I sync the ipad to my Mac.

account intel for Ibook purchased on Itunes Some of the books I purchase on IBook are business expenses. I went onto my account on ITunes and found the titles in question.... but can't see how to make a copy of the titles (listed in my Itunes account )that I will be claiming as business expenses. Help appreciated.

No. purchases cannot be transferred to a different Apple ID, nor can Apple IDs be merged.

Funny… I logged in with my old ID, downloaded my purchased books, logged out then logged in with my new ID. Everything is there and updated books in the cloud. Did I do something right?
