Is Midnight in the Series 7 black, or dark navy?
Darkest of dark navy. In most lighting it does appear black. For fashion it pairs both with black and anything that looks nice with navy. It’s quite the chameleon color. Both sporty and elegant depending on how you style it.

It is black.
To me, it's not pure black. Having seen one in person, in different lighting situations, it borders on black and very dark Navy. It's a cool color.
People do see colors differently. It's subtle for sure, but what I saw in some lighting is a very dark navy. Your eyes don't have to agree with mine. Some videos on YouTube also suggest there is some dark navy going on in a Midnight watch.
I own it and have tried looking at I it in many different lights and I can’t see any navy at all. Maybe it just looks different to different people.
