(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 

(2)  If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

If they do not work then follow the advice at the end of the documents about contacting Apple.

Well, this is disappointing but you gotta keep your iphone in a drawer until a 3rd party comes up with a proper fix. That’s what I do. For the last 2-3 years many people including me having the same problem; user data corrupts system data and eventually iPhone won’t boot up. People here will say “you should restore your iphone via itunes, no other options.” and will make fun of you if you don’t have a recent backup. Been there and experienced.
