iphone rotation screen

There was a time when I had no clue how we can rotate the screen on an iPhone device. I literally got confused when the screen was not optimized and used to rotate automatically whenever I lay down but then I googled the query and found different answers like this one and also many others related to other queries like how can I update my iPhone to the newer version and much more and I was literally impressed by the sheer amount of knowledge that this apple community members have. my question is how can share my iPhone screen on my iMac?

How to Screen Mirror to a Mac From an iPhone

You will need iOS version 15 installed on your iPhone and macOS Monterey installed on your Mac. I want to point out that not all Macs that can run macOS Monterey support this feature. This feature and its functionality is limited to the following computers:

  • MacBook Pro (2018 and later)
  • MacBook Air (2018 and later)
  • iMac (2019 and later)
  • iMac Pro (2017)
  • Mac mini (2020 and later)
  • Mac Pro (2019).

Both devices (iPhone and Mac) must be on the same Wi-Fi Network.

  1. Open the Control Center on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap on the Screen Mirroring toggle.
  3. Now, select your Mac from the list of AirPlay-compatible devices.

Within a second or two, your Mac desktop will display the same content as your iPhone. When you're done mirroring the screen, simply tap on Stop Mirroring to quit the AirPlay session.
