Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having troubles with your new Apple Watch. I would recommend to attempt to reset it, and if able to do so, ensure it is updated to the latest watchOS 8.1.

While the watch is on the charger, press and hold both the side button and the Digital Crown down at the same time until you see the Apple Logo appear.

If the watch is able to power on, once it has, erase all content and settings and repair it to your iPhone. If it requires an update for watchOS, it will complete the update prior to pairing to the iPhone.

This should resolve your issue.

Once powered on > press and hold the side button until you see the ‘Slide to Power Off” screen > release the side button and do not click anything > press and hold the Digital Crown until you see ‘’Reset” or “Erase & Reset” > confirm again that you want to Reset > let the watch restart.

Ensure it is still on the charger for this entire process. It may take a minute for the watch to come back on and begin the pairing process. It is normal to see an Apple logo with a lined border while the watch restarts.

If you are unable to complete the referenced steps above, contact Apple Support to determine available service options for the device.

Hope this helps!
