This game was downloaded from another game. It was weird. It's called chat center I believe. It's this game where you play the level and get 'followers' then once you reach certain levels a real person starts talking to you. My daughter said that they said they were going to start hacking her but she had to defend it. And some other weird things. She was connected to our wifi and since then things have been a little weird with our wifi. I'm worried they hacked her iPad and are still there just being quiet on it until I turn the wifi back on. My husband's phone also began acting up after we discovered this too. My daughter also stated that games appeared on her iPad that she didn't download.

Browser-based web games can claim to do all sorts of stuff, but are limited to what the browser allows. And the web browser is designed to prevent remote websites from causing havoc.
Clear the saved Safari website data (Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data) from their iPad, and check for any saved links to websites (what the share > add to home screen option does), clear history, recently saved and problematic bookmarks, and off you go.
For the Wi-Fi issues, what are the symptoms?
There is a similarly-named web service intended for organizations to set up communications with their customers. Not something I’d expect to see a youngster typically using.
From what you are describing, this all sounds rather more like efforts to control, manipulate, and to possibly groom a youngster, to be blunt.
Ok I will do that.
As for the wifi, my husband's phone has been connecting and disconnecting and was connected to the wifi all night. Well this morning he had a weird withdrawal from his account and a website was in his search that he had never been to. It was to Five Below store. I haven't connected to the wifi myself, but could it be possible for them to gain access like that?
That's what I was worried about as well. As soon as she told me, I immediately went through her iPad and looked for anything suspicious. I have told her numerous times to always check with me before downloading anything onto her iPad. She's done good but I had a feeling she downloaded a few that was not under my supervision. Is there a way to tell if this is happening or has happened?
If the game app download was from the app store, that’s unlikely.
