I was blocked by someone but I still send messages hoping they will eventually unblock me and see it. I sent the message this time as a text instead of iMessage will the person see it? I’m in a group with the person as well will they see a text or iMessage if I send it through the created group?

Sorry to hear that however when they block a phone number or contact, you can still leave a voicemail, but they won't get a notification. Messages won't be delivered. Also, the contact won't get a notification that the call or message was blocked.
In terms of Group Chat in iMessage, any message in the group chat from you will not be delivered to the person who blocked you.
