The built in security on Macs is already powerful enough to keep your Mac safe.

Basically, any software that claims to “make your Mac faster” or “block malicious software and malware” is a scam. They are just trying to take the money that you worked hard for. If it’s free, then it’s definitely a scam.

None.

Keep your Mac up-to-date with security patches from Apple.

Mac OS has built in Anti-Virus, if you start to add 3rd party apps they can interfere and throw false positives.

your best bet is to stay aware of trends in security and look before you link.
