Computer Login

When I used to login to my Mac it asked for my password or thumbprint now it’s asking for a PIN and I don’t know what PIN is I have put my password to login to my computer but that is not working .

Please see: If your Mac doesn't start up all the way - Apple Support and identify the exact screen you are seeing.

If you are seeing the System lock PIN code, your Mac would ask for a PIN code when it has been remotely locked using Find My. Enter the four-digit or six-digit passcode to continue.
