How does one disable the device from issuing a Private Address when you turn on the Hotspot feature?
This has become a problem once I upgraded to iOS 15 and now certain devices will not connect to the fake hardware address.
I am posting this again as I still have no answer!

There are older devices that use MAC address to identify the server and are not compatible with the sudo address provided by the Private Address service. After updating to iOS 15 there no longer seems to be the ability to stop the Personal Hotspot feature from using a private address.

While this shows how to turn off Private Address on a wi-fi network, Use private Wi-Fi addresses on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support I'm not sure this is what you are looking for, since this is about turning off a private address assigned to a device that you are connecting. I cannot check to see if you can try to turn this off since all the devices I have here are logged into the same Apple ID so they would connect to Instant Hotspot, not the personal hotspot. I don't know if you would see the (i) to turn off Private Address.
That may be a question for to you pose to Apple. I do see where that is identified as a feature when I read about Personal Hotspot. But then I've not done as much research as you seem to have. Maybe Apple can help.
I have spoken to Apple Support, and that is why I have posed this question on the discussion boards. As they were unaware of a way to disable the private address feature on the personal hotspot. They did share the information on how to disable it when connecting to wireless networks. This does not help me though.
This is not what I am looking for as it is for joining networks, not for turning off the Private Address on the iPhones Hotspot.

I guess I'm missing your purpose. You cannot get a device to join your Personal Hotspot network, is that correct?
I hope Apple does have a solution for this, I just have not been informed as to what it is yet.
