Can I replace the battery in my 2016 MacBook pro?

Running Big Sur and have been getting a message that my battery needs service. Can I do this myself? Are there instructional videos? No AppleCare on it now. I'm a reasonably technical end user and have installed many desktop cards and memory modules myself with no problems. Thanks for any insights.
