I would like to place my banking apps in a app folder with another level of security or even a false name. Yes, I already use multi-factor authentication, etc. I just want another layer of protection. I see many options for hiding photos and texts (come on people! :) )
Anything options? This should not be this hard! Thanks in advance.

Put a passcode on your phone. Don't let anyone else use it when it's unlocked unless you would trust them with your cash and credit cards during a Black Friday sale on AirPods 90% off.
Also, avoid using those apps that say they will secure your photos. They are frequently not updated and, if they're not and you update your phone to a version of iOS that doesn't support the app, you may lose all of your pictures. We've seen lots of threads with heartbroken people who can't get their photos back.
You cannot hide apps for access.
