Apple iPhone Cases Return Policy

I called Apple Customer Service several times and they were completely useless to say the least. Horrible customer service.

My simple question to them was I purchased 2 iPhone Apple cases; 1 in pink and the other in blue. I should have my iPhone in a few days and wanted to see the phone with the 2 cases and make up my mind.

Does Apple accept an open box where the case is? Is there a restocking fee? The customer service rep was clueless. Said I had to go to the store and ask them.
