Wrong language
Hit wrong button got Chinese instead of English. How do I get back to English?

Fortunately, you should be able to navigate the Settings for this, without needing to read the menu options. Once you reach the language list, then the languages will be listed in their own language as well as the current system language.
Change the language or region format on Apple TV - Apple Support
- Open Settings on Apple TV.
- Go to General (top menu option)
- Go to Apple TV Language (flag symbol on the left/16th menu option)
- and select a language.
