ipod touch 2nd gen wont work on app store
why wont my ipod connect to youtube.com and the appstore.

Because it's too old.
I'm not sure about YouTube, but the store was changed to make it more secure. Unfortunately, those security measures mean that older iPods can no longer access it. Even if you could gain access to the app store (which you cannot), you would be unlikely to find any apps that you could install on a 2nd generation iPod Touch.
