I keep getting this messages. It's on a lot of websites that I try to access

What OS version are you running? Is it really 10.10 as shown in your profile?
If yes, running such an old outdated version may have something to do with your problem. Your browser is outdated as well and there is nothing you can do unless your device will be compatible with a newer OS version.

Yes, I'm afraid you might be right. I don't think my device is compatible with any newer versions.
10.10 was released in 2014; you best watch your Mac because that is also totally outdated and no longer supported. Pay attention to your battery health and charge cycles especially. It may also be good to start saving for a newer one. What year is your device? If it a 2014 (is this yours):
yes, it can be upgraded although your experience may not be ideal because of the old outdated processor and minimal RAM.
