I keep getting this messages. It's on a lot of websites that I try to access

YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT PRIVATE

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from____________ (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

We see while browsing the web on your Mac, a lot of websites will pull up a message that your connection is not private. To clarify, is this on almost any page you visit or only one in particular?


We ask as this is most likely a pop up or scam rather than any actual security issue with your computer. See more info about pop-up windows and options to deal with them in the article below:

10.10 was released in 2014; you best watch your Mac because that is also totally outdated and no longer supported. Pay attention to your battery health and charge cycles especially. It may also be good to start saving for a newer one. What year is your device? If it a 2014 (is this yours):

yes, it can be upgraded although your experience may not be ideal because of the old outdated processor and minimal RAM.
