Mac version of Outlook .pst (.olm)

I’m working on creating the .olm files in Outlook on a Mac, which I understand is basically the same as the Windows .pst file.

I found this reply, which helped immensely:

However, I seem to be unable to create a blank .olm file. Is it possible to create a blank .olm file?

If I don’t specify what types of Outlook data (contacts, mail, notes, etc), would it be able to store that data in a blank file anyway?

Currently, I am attempting to create the .olm files by creating Outlook Folders and then exporting them. It’s taking a while, obviously, so I don’t know if it’s going to work yet, but it should work similarly, correct?

Thanks in advance for the help!
