stuck in app
I can not close out of FaceBook, the app is frozen and I can't get to anything else on my phone

To close a 'stuck' app on a phone with FaceID, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle to open the App Switcher, then swipe up to close the offending app. If that doesn't work, restart your phone.
There seem to be a fair few issues with FB at the moment - what version of iOS are you using?
