Is there a way to install macOS Monterey without using the App Store?

I recently wiped my macbook pro (2015) and started anew with a new Apple Id, but cannot sign in to the App Store with this new Id for some reason. When prompted in the App Store, I enter my correct credentials (yes, I am certain they are correct) but it says I've entered a wrong Apple Id/Passcode.

Due to this, I cannot do any software updates on my mac, which is still on OS X Yosemite (v10.10.5), as all of these updates use the App Store.

I'm thinking that if there is a way to bypass the App Store sign in, by getting the Monterey download from the browser where my Apple Id credentials work correctly, then I could upgrade to Monterey and hopefully resolve the App Store issue.

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.10

For anything newer than Sierra you need to use the Mac App Store app.
