Check the following: Apple menu > System Preference > Keyboard > Text (at the top of Preferences window) > Touch Bar typing suggestions.

Also, if a keyboard icon is showing on your Touch Bar, tap it.

Thank you , the box was checked and I do not have a keyboard icon on the Touch Bar. This happened a few weeks back and a senior advisor had to investigate it over. Couple of days then we got it fixed. And I don't remember the steps it took to get the work predicted back working... help!

Sorry, I have a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and Monterey and I don't have that issue. Unfortunately I don't have any other ideas.
