Try turning off Bluetooth entirely and then turning it back on after 5 or 10 seconds.

If no fix, then try restarting your iPhone: link-> Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If no fix, then setup a Genius Bar Appointment at an Apple Store or Authorized Service provider so they can diagnose it. The Bluetooth hardware in the phone may have a fault. Link-> Get hardware help - Apple Support

searching for a device but is not finding one? this is correct

It's not connecting to a device? this is correct

Nothing is happening, bluetooth searching for devices but none of the previous devices that were paired, show up. The bluetooth page is blank.

Previous devices normally discoverable = Apple Watch 3; beats wireless; Philips external spkr

I turned airplane mode on/off; the phone on/off, with no change in results using wi-fi or LTE

Appreciate the help
