If purchased from an Apple store or a genuine Apple reseller, yes, it has a 1 year warranty.

Thanks! Absolutely right. But I lost my phone and they said it doesn’t cover theft or loss.

That is correct, the basic warranty covers manufactures defects, it doesn't cover theft.
