need advice for Siri use -- i cant use my hands (disabled)

i need to be able make my my incoming phone calls go automatically to auto-answer speaker when i take my airpods off. How do i do this? can it be an automatic thing, or something with voice bc i can't use my hands (disabled)

Any other voice tricks or shortcuts for my new airpods would be great.

Can i get a shortcut to tell siri to switch from AirPods auto-answer to auto-answer phone speaker or r tell siri to start and stop voice control

I've been wearing my airpods but then i get tired and take them out. i thought it was supposed to jump back to my phone automatically but it is not.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities Erika-Milvy,

We see that you have a question about switching between your AirPods and your iPhone. We'd be happy to help.

We noticed that you came to us from the article titled "Switch your AirPods to another device". If you have looked at this article and verified that you are running the latest version (15.1) of software and that you are using the AirPods that are compatible with automatically switching between the AirPods and your iPhone, and the issue remains, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support to see why the AirPods are not switching automatically to your iPhone.
