How to remove my AirPods from someone else's iCloud?

My Ex girlfriend lost her AirPodPros and started using mine, since we broke up she returned them to me and now that I'm trying to add them to my FindMy, Its coming up as her iCloud and phone number in the registered to field. Ive contacted her about removing them but she's playing dumb and saying she cant and doesn't know how. So now she's able to track the Airpods on her find my and also track me at the same time. Id like to know how to remove them from her iCloud and put them on mine instead. Thank You

Only she can do it. There is nothing you can do unless you are the ORIGINAL owner, then see the 'Start a support request' section in:

How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support

Note: Since she has them registered with her Apple ID that may not work.

Here is what she should do:

With a web browser, go to: https://www.iCloud.com and sign in with her Apple ID. Open Find My iPhone and select All Devices (at the top). Then click the AirPods, select 'Erase', and select Next until the device is erased. Finally click "X" next to remove the AirPods.
