Eraser tool missing on Markup tab on Ipad

I’ve been using files for my review but i noticed that my eraser tool was gone and was replaced with another highlighter. I tried double tapping my apple pen but it does not erase any markup mistakes. I also restarted my ipad but it still is gone.

Missing eraser from Markup This question was asked earlier this year with no response. I'm in Word on my iPad, and there used to be an Eraser tool on the Draw menu. Now there are just pen/pencil/highlighter options. So if I want to erase something I drew, I can't. How do I get it back? I have a 6th generation iPad running iOS 15.5, and version 2.61 of Word.

Markup “Erase” doesn’t do anything. I know this question has been asked before, and the answer always refers to the technical language in the user manual, which is, essentially, useless. My problem is that on my iPad and my iPhone I simply cannot get the markup “erase” function to do anything. I tap “mark up“, select the eraser, and either the object or pixel setting, then proceed to try to erase something with either my finger or my stylus and nothing happens ever, repeatedly. I know how it’s supposed to work, but it doesn’t. Help! My “workaround“ is to select the highlighter change the color to white and color over everything with white until the thing I want to erase is gone. Well this works, it’s lame, and I would like to have the full functionality of the app. Somebody please tell me what to do.

Eraser disappeared on iPad notes Hi, The eraser functionality seems to have disappeared from the toolbar on iPad notes. Even when I double tap the Apple Pencil it does not show up (and I have changed the iPad settings to set a double tap to change between the eraser and "current tool"). Can anyone help?
