How do I add a new device (iMac 27) to the list of devices allowed to send and receive text messages from my iPhone 11? Text messages received and sent on the iPhone are not appearing on the new device (iMac.)

then...
Restart the Mac:
Next, by restart the Mac, having just set this up.
