Repeat option in Calendar has disappeared

The repeat option has disappeared from my Calendar. I cannot access it on my MacBook Air, my iPhone 11, or my iPad mini5.

Screenshot is from my MacBook Air, is similar on my iPhone 11 and iPad mini5.

Also, when I tried to edit the repeat of an event that already has a repeat, the repeat disappeared altogether, along with the option to change it. This happens on all the devices.

We'd like to help look into why the repeat option isn't showing any longer within Calendar.

Let's start with some basics, along with better understanding what's happening:

From the details you provided so far, it was unclear if this also occurs on both your iPad and iPhone. To confirm, does this only occur on your Mac?
From your post, we see that you have macOS 12.0 installed, but the latest version is macOS 12.0.1. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. Here's how to first Back up your Mac with Time Machine, and afterwards, here's How to update the software on your Mac.
Has a restart been tried? If not, Check out the section 'Restart' here: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac
When did this first start?

Calendar Repeat Issue

Thanks for responding bruno75.

The issue has occurred on all three devices.
I have 12.0.1 installed on my MacBook Air, and my iPhone 11 and iPad mini5 are also up to date
I just now restarted all of my devices. It still has the issue on each device.
I first noticed it yesterday when I moved a recurring monthly event to another date. It asked the usual question of whether I wanted the change in all future instances of the event; I responded yes. Then I saw that the old event was still on the calendar and the one I moved to the new day was not repeating to future months and did not have the option to repeat. Then I created a fresh event and it did not have the option to repeat.
The only new factor amongst the devices is that I bought the iPhone 11 last week, replacing an iPhone 7 which I now use just on wifi.
