iPhone Limited Warranty shown on the first boot is from 15 days before device purchase and activation

I bought an iPhone that should be new from an authorized reseller and the box had the plastic with the green arrow.

On the first boot with my chip and activated using wifi it showed November 16th/2022 as the warranty period, it was on iOS 14.7.1. But I bought it on November 26th and only received it yesterday, December 1st. After upgrading it to iOS 15.1.1 it still shown the same error, but the checkcoverage site was reporting the correct date, November 30th/2022. Only after "Erase all content and settings" it showed the correct warranty period on the phone.

Apple support told me that they did not see any prior use/activation for my serial code but they are unaware on how, for example, a phone returned to the store and bought by a new user could have the prior activation date and have it updated by the new owner.

Should I worry that this is a returned phone or could it be a bug? Or even that date being from some kind of QA test when it was manufactured?

Thank you!
