Contacts lost on my iPhone

2000+ contacts disappeared from my iPhone. They still show up on my Mac and iCloud. Is it related with the last iOS upgrade? How can I solve the problem?

Hey there, and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Cybershark.

We see that you've got some issues with your contacts on your iPhone. If the contacts exist on your other devices, we'd recommend going to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and turning off Contacts. If it asks whether to keep or delete the contacts, choose to delete. After that restart your iPhone and then turn it back on. Wait a few minutes and see if those show back up.

If your iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders won’t sync

We hope this help.
