Transfer 6S Plus to a new Iphone 13 Pro

I am trying to do the side by side transfer of all my data from a 6S Plus to a 13 Pro. I must have downloaded music or something a really long time ago from an old AOL email account that I had. Asking for pw that I will never remember and I cannot get past that point to finish the setup. It will not let me skip that step either and forces me to go back and erase everything that was transferred up to that point. I don't care if I lose the music or whatever is on my old phone from that old email address. I just want to get this new phone set up but want to make sure all my pictures and apps come over. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you Jen. Much appreciated. Turns out I needed to download IOS 15 and everything worked after that.

It sounds like you have an issue transferring data from an iPhone 6s Plus to the iPhone 13 Pro. Based on what you're describing, it might be best to manually transfer the data to the new device to avoid transferring the music.
