iPhone XR is disabled

My phone has been disabled due to several attempts to sign on with Hello Pin and was locked out. I called Apple support last night and was not able to get phone unlocked. Can I try again or would really like to schedule an appointment to go to Apple store in Birmingham, Al, The Summit.
