Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Mail error message

"Mail cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn’t enough space in your home folder"

Mail comes up but error message then appears and tells me to quit mail. Plenty of storage space, deleted mail down to the bare bones, and still get message and problem. Fixable?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.4

You may need to restart your Mac, after deleting files, to see any change.

If needed:

You might want to check the overall storage situation on your iMac.

Seems a Mac needs at least 50Gb free for the Operating System to continue operating smoothly.
