Hi,
You have not yet completed the setup of your new Apple ID.
First, log into the Apple ID website on appleid.apple.com and confirm that your billing and shipping address, as well as phone number are listed.
Afterwards, to complete the account creation you need to accept Apple’s Terms & Conditions.
If youre having issues with the error message when downloading apps, reference the following for a resolution, depending on how your Settings appear.
- Settings > Name > Media & Purchases > if it says ‘Off’, click right there and then confirm/continue to sign in.
Once Signed In, you should receive the pop-up again > Tap Review > Swipe the option green to confirm you have agreed to the T&C and select your correct country/region > confirm your payment information, billing address and phone number and press next > you should receive a pop-up that confirms your Apple ID setup is complete.
- Settings > Name > Media & Purchase > View Account > you should then receive the pop-up here. Tap review, and reference the above steps.
If neither of these options work to resolve your issue, go to Settings > Name > Media & Purchases > Sign Out.
After signed out, open the App Store and click on your avatar/picture in the upper right-hand corner on the main page > scroll to the bottom > click Sign Out.
- Now, on the App Store, search for an App and try to download it > you will be asked to Create or Sign in with your Apple ID > select Use Existing Apple ID > sign in with your Apple ID credentials > you will receive the pop-up again > tap review > repeat the referenced steps above to complete the account creation.
