Can't enter login info for TV provider

I bought a new iPad Pro and now all of a sudden my video apps (ID Go, Oxygen) won't allow me to link to my TV provider. When I remove and try to re-add Xfinity, I don't get the dialogue box that allows me to enter my username and password, as the article says I should.
