I recently purchased a set of Airpod Pros at Target. I've returned them 3 times because they are damaged straight out of the box! Two sets had cracks in them and the third has a chip (See pics-Crack is very faint, but in the same exact spot as yours). I took photos and kept the receipts as documentation. From my research, this seems to be a common problem. Apple seems to blame the customer for the damage, however, this is direct proof that there are defective batches that seem to have been missed during quality control.
