safari language problems

new iPad Pro, and Safari insists on using Greek as my chosen language, when UK English is checked

If you attach the keyboard, do you still get Greek letters when you type? If so, this is easy to fix. With the keyboard attached, go to settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap over at the right edge. Make sure "British" is checked there and not "automatic" or something else.
