If you attach the keyboard, do you still get Greek letters when you type? If so, this is easy to fix. With the keyboard attached, go to settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap over at the right edge. Make sure "British" is checked there and not "automatic" or something else.

I'm sure it works Tom....but the whole thing didn't till it was fixed on the iPad without the magic keyboard. Once British English was selected on the iPad and re-attached to the magic keyboard, Safari wrote in English!

Do you mean that the menus and dialogues are in Greek? If so, check your Settings for Safari, where there may be a place to set the interface language.
If you are talking about something else, explain it in more detail.
