Apple Car Play constantly shutting down

Car Play has had issues with my last Toyota and my Honda Accord now. Connects the. Randomly turns back and the carplay restarts.

i am having to factory reset the carplay settings, disconnect and reconnect carplay in my iPhone. It’s been years and no updates have solved this issue. I have an iPhone X. My husband has a new iPhone and it happens but very rarely.

I have removed cases and tried to connect wired and wirelessly. Same issue.
