Use headset microphone on iPad Pro camera

Hi! I am trying to record a video through my iPads camera app, but I would like to use my beats as the microphone. How do I do this? When my beats are paired they become the microphone for all my other apps except the camera app. Nothing I’ve tried has resolved the issue, restarting, connecting and disconnecting the beats, forgetting and repairing the beats, and closing out all my apps.
