outgoing voice broken up

Using iPhone 11 Pro calling my daughter, my outgoing voice is broken up WiFi and cellular icons show good levels.

Using my wife's iPhone 11 pro max laying right next to the not-max, voice is clear according to my daughter.

I cleared cookies and safari then restarted. No benefits.

I called my carrier (T-Mobil), and a system reset was done. Still not perfect.

What else do I do?

You've tried some great troubleshooting so far by testing with your wife's iPhone and then the resets you mentioned. Does this happen in a particular location or have you had a chance to test elsewhere? Have you tried calling anyone else and does this happen with all contacts? This will isolate the issue further.


Is Wi-Fi calling enabled? Check out Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling if needed.

So, this happens after switching carriers and seems to happen whether you use Wi-Fi calling or not. Right?


Does changing your mobile data to Data Only from Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data Options seem to change anything? Corresponding article found here - About the LTE options on your iPhone.


If that doesn't change the result, contact Apple Support for additional help. You can reach out from Get Support or using the direct phone number for your region from Contact Apple for support and service.

WiFi active. First carrier suggested I use, then suggested I disable that.

I get that complaint while at many places, not just while I am at home.

I live between two towers of one carrier, There is a node that is at my front door, according to all cellular data braking as I pass from one side to the other. I changed carriers. Signal bars are minimal. The calls are noted to be broken by the receiving.
