I have a MacBook Pro, 2019, and wondered if anyone has had any issues when updating from the Catalina version to the Monterey software???
On my 2016 MBP and 2015 iMac, I had zero problems. Get prepared as Sonicray suggests and it should work just fine. Your 2019 is certainly capable of running Monterey.
To avoid problems, before you upgrade to a major MacOS update:
1 - Update all your software apps, including your OS to the latest security update.
2 - Backup your entire HDD/SSD via Time Machine.

5 - Run a first aid pass:

6 - As an extra you could also run a quick optimization of your disk space before the First Aid.
