so I ordered a iphone 7 plus and the person told me it’s unlocked(from USA)
but i am from South-America(Suriname)but when I received the phone it wasn’t unlocked.So I contact the person about it
and he send a request to Xfinity to unlock it,
and Xfinity send this for him
but i it still says that the carrier is sim locked it still cant read my simcard
what might be the problem?

Then they are going to have to contact Xfinity again. This is one of the problems with purchasing second hand devices from individuals. Especially when you are outside of the US.
