Watching Invasion on Amazon Fire Stick with the Apple TV App, and the subtitles keep cutting off. Half way through a scene with Japanese speech and the subtitles will just stop. Then I can't understand what's going on anymore. This has happened the last 2 episodes I've watched.

Also, I'm getting a lot of pixels near them bottom of the screen that drop out, turn white. They come and go. Not sure if that's the app or the fire stick, but it only happens with Apple TV, not with Netflix, Hulu, or Prime.

This did not solve my question. Only thing that seemed helpful was to update the app, but the article stated that the app updates automatically. And I confirmed this by going into the app and there is no way to update it myself. So still stuck with my problem.

Thanks for getting back to us. Is the issue with subtitles occurring only with the two specific episodes that you mentioned or have you encountered it when streaming other content? Let's also check if there's a software update on your Amazon Fire Stick:

Hi. I have the same issue. It has only happened when watching Invasion but it has happened during many of the episodes. I can temporarily fix it by restarting the firestick but the issue keeps returning again. Thanks.
