How can I transfer only select apps to the new iPhone?

I currently have almost 50 app on iPhone X. How do I transfer only 20 of the most frequently used apps to new Iphone 13?

There is not a way to do what you are asking.

-Either transfer everything and then go thru and delete the apps you no longer want..

-OR set the iPhone up as new and re-download the apps you do want.

Whichever method you choose, should be relatively painless.

Last time I counted my apps I had over 300, so having 50 apps and needing to either download 20 or delete 30.. shouldn't be too crazy time consuming.

Thanks for the response, Chris & Brittany. I plan to upgrade from iPhone X to iPhone 13. I suspected all or none as the two options.

There is the hassle of remembering all the passwords when reinstalling apps to a new phone. I plan to transfer my apps and delete the apps I rarely use from the new phone!

I wish Apple provides an option to select apps based on customers' preference for the new phone!
