MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11
First make sure to have a good backup before attempting to upgrade macOS just in case something goes wrong.
Your 2015 MBPro should be able to run macOS 12.x Monterey. Depending on the current version of macOS installed you may need to go into the Software Update section of System Preferences, or launch the Software Update app, or launch the App Store and search for macOS. You can find a link to the macOS 12.x Monterey installer here as well as other versions of macOS and instructions for creating a bootable macOS USB installer:

If you are installing Monterey you will need about 30GB of free storage space (36GB if installing Big Sur). Keep in mind Monterey was released about a month ago and is still experiencing some growing pains since many USB3 drives are not working correctly with Monterey. Also keep in mind that macOS 10.15+ no longer support 32 bit apps which is important if you are currently using an earlier version of macOS.
