Which color profile is in use?

I have just calibrated my monitor creating a new profile which I can see in Libraries...ColorSync>Profiles. How do I insure that this profile is in use???

If I go to preferences>displays>color I see a list of profiles including the one I created. BUT how do I know which one is really, actually in use??? There is no indication shown.

Hello,

After collaborating your display it is automatically assigned.

Calibrate your Mac display - Apple Support

“When the display profile is ready, it’s automatically assigned as your display’s color profile.”

To see (and change) which profile is assigned, use the System Preferences App > Displays.

Change your Mac display’s color profile - Apple Support

I hope this helps.

Thanks SHH. That is good to know.

But that does not help with my second question: how do I know which one is really, actually in use??? There is no indication for that that I can find. There are a couple of reasons why this is important (trust me), but, for one, several months from now I may desire a quick answer to the question of which of the many color profiles available is actually in use. Seems like Apple OS should be able to provide an answer to this straightforward, and important, question.
