How to change Japanese keyboard layout?

The Japanese keyboard layout (hiragana) on my new MacBook Pro is like this:

On my old computer (and other computers I've used), when selecting hiragana the layout would be QWERTY and what was typed would be converted to hiragana, etc.

Does anyone know how to change this? I've looked for but haven't been able to find the relevant setting.

You need to choose Romaji instead of Kana for the input source.
