CPU Issues part 2 (Catalina, i9, 64go ram)
Hi,
I'm facing serious issues with my Macbook Pro 16".
I'm a professional music producer/sound engineer who work on the digital audio workstation from Steinberg, Cubase. I'm working on music every single day and, due to the requests, I need to be really effective and fast. But I can't.
6 month ago, I've decided to post my issues on this forum because I was unable to work anymore.

To sum up, my CPU constantly peaking, my fans running really fast and loud, and my laptop is overheating everytime I run a music session. The fact is, this COULD be understandable if my sessions was overloaded, but this happen with barely 10 tracks opened!!! When this happened, I can't record or even press "play" anymore, my software is stuck.
Here is my setup:
Intel i9 2,4 Ghz, 64 Go Ram, 4TO ssd, Catalina.
Around 5 month ago after posting my thread, I decided to bring reset my macbook (also switched it to Big Sur) and bring it to a Macbook store. The diagnostic surprised me: "nothing wrong on the hardware, neither in the software". I can remember they told me that they launch a procedure to clean all potential malwares.
When I tested it after this, I was annoyed. Nothing changed, the same CPU spikes happened again and again. I think it was even worse. I've turned paranoid, wiped the OS again, turned back to Catalina, didn't install any other app except Cubase and some legit third party plugins, bought an official Apple hub, always plug off my external monitor (yes... external monitors overboosting the fans and make the laptop HOT), turn off the wifi while working, etc...
Surprise! Everything worked again ! (at least, better than before, I think not at his best though)
I spent 5 lovely months, without "major" CPU issues. But it didn't last, that's why I'm here today.
The same issues happen again. I'm honestly devastating. I've bought my Macbook Pro around 6 500 euros a year ago to be as efficient as an old machine.
I've ask to professionals around me if they got the same issue for the 2019 16" Macbook Pro. Many of them also got performance issues, regardless the DAW (Fl studio, Ableton, Logic). That's why I'm posting here and not in Steinberg's forum.
