Display name for icloud in iPad mail app

in iPad mail inboxes list, my icloud account inbox name should show simply as icloud. Instead it shows the inbox as the full icloud address (e.g. JohnSmith5000@icloud.***). How can I change the display name in the mail app list of inboxes to be just icloud please.

I have looked in icloud.com mail preferences but the Account section now has nowhere to change the display name.
