"An error occurred while installing the selected update"

This message pops up everytime I try to install a new app, like skype, storytel, etc. I have tried downloading them from app store and from their official sites but it seems that it does not make a difference. Help.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

Has one down a Safe Boot and then Reboot in normal mode. Then attempt to install the Third Party Applications.


Sometimes Safe Boot just puts a lot of thing right.
