AirPod Pro Transparency Mode

Can outside sounds be amplified in Transparency Mode? That would be helpful for those slightly hard of hearing.

However the audio volume of media being played from my iPhone is fine. Is there some way to adjust the volume of the tones/beeps to make it more like Airpod pro gen 1 volume?
